"2Voices" Book Signing with Irene E Peña & Amado M. Peña
Celebrated Southwest painter Amado M. Peña, Jr. has collaborated to produce his first two books in many years. One of which is entitled “Two Voices”.
Celebrating the mysteries of family and landscape, Two Voices is a unique collabloration between a brother and a sister who see their lives growing up in the Southwest through the prisms of painting and poetry. Irene Peña’s verse is complemented by the unique style of Amado M. Peña, Jr., including paintings from his personal collection stretching across four decades of his career. This unusual combination of artistic talents provides a richness and texture that expresses deep appreciation for the beauty that has touched two lives.
La Peña is happy to have Irene and Amado Peña in its gallery on Saturday, September 27th for a special book signing. Guests include Resistencia Bookstore and Red Salmon Press with Manejo Beto on hand as the musical guest.
