It has become a tradition for La Peña to work with the Metz-Sanchez elementary schools yearly, in order to allow kids to showcase their work in a real gallery. This year, students learned about the process of making, and making art on the traditional Mexican bark-pulp paper, amate. We thank the students for creating this art, despite the unusual circumstances under which they had to be creative.
